[Official] IT HURTS to be the ending theme for Japanese TV show, “Ima-chan no ‘Jitsu wa…’”!! (October 27, 2011)

“IT HURTS” tie-up decision!!
The coupling song of the 1st Single “GO AWAY” that will be released on 11/16, “IT HURTS” has
been chosen to be the ending theme song of the Asahi TV program called “Ima-chan no ‘Jistu wa…’” in November!!

http://asahi.co.jp/imachan/

A/N: This TV program is an educational variety show that reveals facts about the world that are generally not known. “Ima-chan” refers to the host of this show, Imada Kouji, who is a famous comedian and host in Japan.  The term “jitsu wa…” can be roughly translated to “in actual fact…”. Since Imada is a comedian, the show is educational but in a humourous way gaining many fans and has allowed it to continue airing since its debut in 2008. Therefore 2NE1’s song being chosen as the ending theme will give them much (more) exposure to the Japanese public!

2NE1 to hold concerts in Thailand and Vietnam

Girl group 2NE1 is continuing their dominance in Asia as they will be advancing to further promote their music in Thailand and Vietnam.

According to their agency, 2NE1 put on a successful debut concert in Japan in September for over 70,000 fans, and they have plans to make their debut in Thailand and Vietnam as well in order to enlarge their sphere of activities.

The girls who are currently promoting in Japan will hold their very first ‘NOLZA‘ concert in Thailand on the 29th at the Impact Hall in Bangkok, despite being busy working as models for Yamaha Thailand.
And in addition to Thailand, They will also be greeting their fans in Vietnam at a collective concert to take place in Hanoi on November 19th. 2NE1 will be the only Korean artists to take place in the particular show.
The concert is a public service event put on by the KOTRA in Vietnam as well as Silk Road CNT, and it is an effort to offer assistance to Vietnamese teenagers and will serve as an opportunity for Korea and Vietnam to share and exchange pop cultures.

A representative from Silk Road CNT stated, “We have heard that 2NE1 is the most popular Korean artist among Vietnamese teens and therefore we decided to invite them to represent Korean artists at the concert… The event is being held with good intentions, so not only is the Vietnamese government particularly interested in the event, but all of the major Korean enterprises in the area are also showing their interest and support.

The ladies of 2NE1 will be releasing their single in Japan on November 16th, and will greet their Korean fans once again at the YG Family Concert in December.

How to Dress Up as CL for Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner. If you are still trying to decide who/what you should dress up as, how about dressing up as 2NE1’s leader and the best female rapper, CL? Let me show you how!

First of all, put away those cardigans and polos and cutesy t-shirts and skirts. If you’re going to become the baddest female Seoul city ever had, you’re going to need to get a leather jacket/vest (the shinier, the better), torn jeans or leggings (the more colorful, the better), and some sunglasses (the wackier, the better).
Or perhaps you don’t think you can pull off that gangster look so well. You can also go for the more formal CL look with a blazer, graphic tee, and nicer jeans.
But since CL is not the only one who wears those types of clothes, you need to emphasize that you’re the fierce leader of 2NE1 with some big and bold accessories, like some big earrings, chunky necklaces and bracelets, and studded belts.
As for your hair, it would be best to get a blonde wig (or not if you have blonde hair), but if you can’t get your hands on a wig, you can cut yourself some bangs and tie your hair into a high bun or ponytail, or you can try this faux hawk from 2NE1’s “Fire” days.

Finally, for the finishing touch, don’t forget your heavy eye makeup!
